Starting from the similarity in the UI and some of the available features that makes this very similar to PicMonkey, if you was already familiar with Picnik then the transition won’t be a difficult thing. There are other alternatives around the Internet like Aviary or Pixlr however PicMonkey offers what most users of Picnik were looking for. This is a creation of former Picnik engineers and this tool can be a good alternative to PicMonkey with a clean new tool for editing your images.
